Another great gift from author Zoe Chant. I am so glad she offered it as a Thanksgiving gift and I took her up on the offer. It's a wonderful, sweet and sometimes a bit scary story of the paths that lead to where we should be.Raina is a big curvy girl who has no luck with men who find her size an issue, Jerks one and all. That is until her best friend get the chicken pox and is unable to fulfill her obligation to participate in a Bachelorette auction.
Owen Mcquire has no want to be at the charity event and he hates crowds but his billionaire status makes him a sort after addition to the audience when a friend calls in a favor. He is big and he is uncomfortable and his bear is barely being kept in check. He want a family, his bear that is, and he wants Owen to find it. Imagine Owen has searched far and wide and no luck. That is until Raina graces the stage and his bear sense pick up the scent of it's mate. When challenge by a rival money talks and the price is a bid of 1 million dollars for one date with Raina.
It is a quick and fun story and one I know you will just love if you take the time to read it. By all means do that I know you will find the time was worth it and the price is a bargain at the price.

This is a complete range of emotion in the making.
It leaves you with a soft smile on you face.
Anyone that likes the paranormal romance but wants something more than just the werewolf stories.
I read some other reviews and while yes, this is not unique--it is a good read. I like the characters and while fast, shifters know when they meet their mates in most scenarios. I liked her immediate reaction to finding out he was a bear. I think a little more to the scene where she has a choice would have improved the overall story line.
I enjoyed the short read.
Cute short story of a billionaire bear needing his mate when he find her at center stage of an auction. He beautiful curvy mate surprised some one wants so she takes a chance on this handsome billionaire who happens to be a bear. These two are great together and won't let anyone get in the way of it.
Raina and Owen met at a charity auction and Owen paid $1m for Raina to be his date for one evening. He knew she was his mate and he planned on doing everything he could to make her accept him. Zoe is a wonderful writer and her stories are interesting and her characters are real and I recommend this book wholeheartedly. Enjoy!

But he had a secret and had to wait the right moment and protect her. Raina was feeling wild confidence with him but would last? Entertaining and amusing story about fated mates. Raina was not as naive as it seemed. She learned fast. Liked the characters and the development.
