Larger than I expected but it will work. In fact after I have used it for a bit it is much better than I expected.
I have been buying Brown Trout spiral bound desk calendars for years, but I will have to agree with another review that I am very disappointed in the quality of this calendar. Absolutely no sheen to the pictures. Very matte looking. Unless I can buy these calendars for a decent discounted price in the years to come, I will be looking elsewhere for a good quality dachshund pictured calendar. So sad for the company's decisions to go with lesser quality. Sharon
For many, many years we have used this weekly engagement calendar as a journal, and were always thrilled with it. But what a disappointment the 2015 edition is. It no longer has a hard cover and the dachsie photos are half the size and don't look as brilliant as before. We will not order this item next year.
I am a Dachshund lover so I find Brown Trout the go to Place for my calendars. I annually order the large calendar for the kitchen and the engagement book for my purse. No matter what is written, the ;pictures make your smile.
I have the 2014 and 2015 engagement calendars, both from Brown Trout, and the new 2015 edition is much inferior. The Dachshund photos in last year's were near full-page, sharper and of much higher quality, while the photos in this 2015 version are a lot smaller and of lower quality. And why would one want a Dachshunds calendar other than for the photos? I hope Brown Trout get their stuff together before 2016.
I saw this at Petco but was hoping to find it online for a better deal. had it for almost $5 less, so I am happy with the price. It's a great agenda/planner. It provides you with a quick monthly planner overview in the front from September 2014 through December 2015. The planner is a weekly view. And each week you get to see a picture of an adorable Dachshund. My favorite part. The quality is really good. It's a soft cover agenda/planner. It also has a convenient pocket as part of the inside of the front cover. It is just made of the same material as the cover, nothing fancy.
Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase and I would buy it again.
